Brenda Herrman, DDS

Dr. Brenda Herrman has practiced in Springfield, MO, since 1990, after graduating from the University of Missouri at Kansas City School of Dentistry. As a general dentist, she has always had a keen interest and emphasis in her practice on aesthetic or "cosmetic" aspects of dentistry. It is her top priority to combine the beauty of today's materials with sound scientific principles to create a natural, beautiful, and comfortable smile for her patients. She is able to accomplish this because of many hours of advanced study in the latest techniques at institutions such as LVI, and by achieving premiere provider status with Invisalign®. She has a support team who is among the best trained and qualified in the state.

Dr. Herrman balances her career with a home and family, to include her husband, Dr. Bret Herrman (whose chiropractic practice is in Rogersville, MO) and their two children, Cary and Marina. Dr. Herrman is an accomplished musician, and she spends her free time with the family in musical and sports endeavors. All four of her family are also volunteers at the Springfield Little Theatre, on and off stage.

Dr. Herrman is proud of her achievements in dentistry and of her ability to combine the eye of an artist with the skill of a surgeon--and to have fun while doing so! Her many happy patients agree that this dental home is like no other.

Your call to our office is usually answered by our friendly business administrator, Melissa. With her many years of business experience, Melissa will answer your questions courteously and professionally. She will help you schedule convenient appointment times as well as to assist you in finding the best way to make it easily affordable for you to get the dentistry you want.

Our certified dental assistant, Jennifer, will make sure your dental concerns and preferences are communicated to the doctor, and she will assure that your visits here are comfortable! Jennifer also has her certifications by the State of Missouri for Expanded Functions in Dentistry. She is qualified to do much more in dentistry than the average assistant, and our patients have come to expect her gentle touch and her excellent care.

Glenda, our patient coordinator, helps to assure that your visit flows seamlessly from the moment you step in our office. Glenda assures that your information is up-to-date, that you understand the dentistry you are accepting, and that your visit is as comfortable as possible. Glenda brings her 21 years of experience in dentistry to the business aspects as well as the clinical aspects, and her friendliness and unhurried style are greatly appreciated by all of our patients.

Molly, our Registered Dental Hygienist, is highly skilled in caring for the oral health of our patients through continuing care visits as well as through conservative yet effective gum tissue treatment. We utilize the latest in diode laser technology to comfortably support our gum tissue therapies when needed. Our patients rave about Molly's exceptional skill in providing the most gentle yet thorough cleanings.

The entire team is a group of licensed professionals with many hours of training and continuing education. We take great pride in being on the cutting edge of dentistry and patient communication.

Our Independent Massage Therapist, Carrie Loretz, offers a wide variety of services. Relaxation massage, deep tissue therapy, CORE bodywork, Reiki and Aromatherapy will aid you in stress relief or acute and chronic pain conditions.

Carrie received her training from the Institute of Psycho-Structural Balancing in San Diego in 1989. Since then, most of her continuing education has focused on CORE bodywork, which she incorporates in relieving the pain and muscle tension of those clients who have been diagnosed with Temporomandibular joint disorder (TMJ), whiplash and Fibromyalgia to name a few.

Massage Therapy is an integral part of the neuromuscular aspect of our practice. When needed, Carrie works with Dr. Herrman’s patients to help relieve TMJ and head/neck muscular pain in addition to their neuromuscular dental therapy.

Carrie can adjust her pressure to each person’s individual needs, letting her compassion and sensitivity guide her.

Aromatherapy

From her own experience, Carrie believes in the healing power of essential oils. The oils are key to helping eliminate toxins from the body and expedite the healing process. Essential oils assist in healing on mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual levels. They also improve one's sense of well-being. The raindrop technique is an oil treatment Carrie utilizes for clients, she is one of a few massage therapists in the area certified in this practice.
