Invisalign & Accelerated Invisalign
The Invisalign® system is the virtually invisible way to straighten your teeth and achieve a dazzling, healthy smile.
Using advanced 3-D computer imaging technology, Invisalign® depicts your complete treatment plan, for the initial position of your teeth to the final desired position. Then a series of clear aligners are custom-made for your teeth – and your teeth only – to move them little by little.
Traditional Invisalign aligners are worn for 14 days before being replaced by the next clear aligner in the series, until the final position of your teeth is achieved.
We also offer Accelerated Invisalign treatment that could shorten your treatment by months or even years! Ask Dr. Green about Accelerated Invisalign treatment.
Accelerated Invisalign treatment could shorten your treatment time by 50% with aligner changes every 3-5 days.
Ask Dr. Green about setting up your Invisalign Consultation. Your Invisalign® treatment at Springfield Smile Doctor will be determined by Dr. Randi Green and based on your specific orthodontic needs. The decision to prescribe weekly aligner changes is at the doctor’s discretion.

Benefits of Invisalign Clear Braces
Most people won't even notice you are wearing them
Invisalign retainers are removable so you can pop them in and out at your convenience
Eat the food you enjoy without restrictions. Remove them to eat and clean before putting them back in
Since they are removable it's easier to maintain good oral hygiene
What are the primary benefits of Invisalign®?
Invisalign® aligners are practically clear. No one may even notice that you’re wearing these virtually invisible “braces,” making Invisalign® a seamless fit with your lifestyle and day-to-day interactions with others. They are removable. Unlike braces, you have the flexibility to eat and drink what you want during treatment by simply removing the aligners. And you can also remove the aligners to brush and floss as you normally would for fresh breath and good oral hygiene.
Unlike braces, there are no metal brackets or wires with the Invisalign® system that could cause irritation to your mouth. Plus, since check-ups during treatment don’t involve metal or wire adjustments, you’ll likely spend less time in the doctor’s chair. Invisalign® really works to help correct a broad range of orthodontic and dental issues. There are over a million smiles to back that up. A confident smile isn’t the only benefit of correcting your dental issues with custom-made aligners – your health can be positively impacted as well.
Accelerated Invisalign with PROPEL® Orthodontics and VPro5
The PROPEL System can be used with orthodontic treatments, including Invisalign and traditional braces. PROPEL can help move your teeth into their desired position 50% faster than traditional Invisalign or braces. Springfield dentist, Dr. Randi Green is a PROPEL Orthodontics provider, so you can have the perfect smile you deserve.
PROPEL is a simple chair-side procedure that is performed in minutes by Dr. Randi Green.
The procedure yields little discomfort to the patient. Micro osteo-perforations or "dimples" are placed on the gums and are a micro-invasive option used to accelerate the stimulation of bone production in the upper and lower jaw. These micro "dimples" are placed on the gums help correct teeth with difficult movements and ultimately move your teeth to the desired position faster. There is zero recovery time and our patients return to their daily routines immediately!
The VPro5 is an at-home device used throughout your course of Invisalign or Orthodontic treatment.
Patients wear it for only 5 minutes per day, usually right before bedtime. The Propel VPro5 delivers maximum results faster than traditional Invisalign and helps give patients a beautiful smile.
VPro5 is a tool that can help Dr. Green's patients speed through their treatment process. It works by sending light vibrations to the patient for 5 minutes helping to seat your aligners. This light vibration helps increase blood flow and cellular activities around your teeth, causing accelerated treatment, thus getting you through faster.
VPro5 is simple to use and can easily be used at home or can travel with you. The system has color-coded LED light notifications to let you know your device's status.
Keeping it clean is easy, and needs to be performed after use. Simply detach the mouthpiece and rinse with water and let it dry. Just five minutes each day can help accelerate your Invisalign or Orthodontic treatment and save you months of treatment time.

Invisalign clear aligners can have a significant positive impact on your life.
Invisalign can close your gapped teeth
Gaps between teeth can occur with abnormal continued growth of the jawbone. Missing teeth can also cause the surrounding teeth to shift due to the extra space, creating gaps in your teeth. Spacing issues and gaps between teeth can lead to gum problems (due to lack of protection by the teeth), periodontal pockets and increased risk of periodontal disease.
Invisalign can correct your overbite
What people commonly refer to as an “overbite” is known to dental professionals as “overjet.” It occurs when the upper teeth bite over the lower teeth. Its typically caused by genetics, bad oral habits, or overdevelopment of the bone that supports the teeth. This can lead to gum problems or irritation, and/or wear on the lower teeth, and can cause painful jaw and joint problems.
Invisalign can correct your underbite
Underbite can occur when the lower teeth protrude past the front teeth. Its usually caused by undergrowth of the upper jaw, overgrowth of the lower jaw, or both. It can also be caused by missing upper teeth. This can prevent the normal function of front teeth or molars, which can lead to tooth wear. It can also cause painful jaw and joint problems.
Invisalign can close your open bite
Open bite often occurs when some teeth are unable to make physical contact with the opposing teeth for a proper bite. Most often caused by a genetic abnormal jaw structure or excessive thumb-sucking, an open bite can cause poor or painful chewing, and even speech impairment. It can also lead to greater issues like temporomandibular joint disorder (TMJ).
Invisalign can correct your overly crowded teeth
Teeth crowding occurs when there is simply a lack of room within your jaw for all of your teeth to fit normally. When left untreated, overly crowded teeth can get worse over time, and result in severely crooked teeth. This crowding can lead to plaque accumulation, tooth decay and an increased chance of gum disease.
Invisalign can correct your crossbite
Crossbite can occur when the upper and lower jaws are both misaligned. It causes one or more upper teeth to bite on the inside of the lower teeth, and can happen on both the front and the sides of the mouth. This can cause wear of the teeth, gum disease and bone loss.
